Christmas/Clergy Appreciation Dinner


Our Christmas/Clergy Appreciation Dinner has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 19th At 7pm.  Please arrive 10-15 minutes early if possible.

The location for this years dinner will be at Dover Straits on Rt.45 just west of our St. Mary of Vernon Parish.  The address is 890 E. US Highway 45, Mundelein, IL. 60060.  The phone is 847-949-1550.

“Knights of Columbus” Adopt-A-Highway Program


Highway 45 Clean-Up CrewThe St. Mary of Vernon Knights of Columbus council #8022 completed our fall roadside clean on Saturday, November 3rd which is done twice a year, also in the spring.  Six Brother Knights participated in the 1 ½ -mile stretch of Rt. 45 extending from Adina’s restaurant, just west of St. Mary of Vernon Parish, heading east to Stone Fence subdivision, just east of Deerpath Dr.

Nine large trash bags and other assorted junk were collected and piled for the City to pick up on the following Monday.  Pictured are Mike Lamarca, Tim Henning, Mark Janicke, John Vrbancic and John Knier.  Not Shown was Chuck Murphy taking the Picture.
